RDA or EFDA
Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment
Assist the dentist during procedures (handing instruments, suctioning, etc.)
Take and develop dental X-rays (as permitted by state regulations)
Record patient medical histories and update charts
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards
Handle basic administrative tasks like billing and filing
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Completion of a dental assisting program
Certification or licensure as required by state law
Knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and terminology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills & Attributes:
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
Team-oriented mindset
Basic computer and record-keeping skills
full-time $14 - $21 per hour
