• Manage day-to-day billing activities and ensure invoices are accurate and processed timely
• Support accounts payable and ensure vendors and other obligations are paid on time
• Track project financial activity and ensure expenses are accurately coded to the appropriate jobs
• Monitor project costs, revenue, and profitability and identify potential issues or variances
• Review projects for potential financial concerns and proactively raise red flags when costs or profitability are trending in the wrong direction
• Assist with identifying additional billable work and ensuring appropriate change orders are obtained
• Enter and maintain invoice information using established Excel templates and accounting systems
• Work closely with the Controller and other members of the accounting team to keep financial information accurate and up to date
• Support general accounting and bookkeeping activities as needed

• Strong foundation in accounting principles and day-to-day accounting processes
• Experience with billing, accounts payable, and/or full-charge bookkeeping
• Project accounting or job costing experience is a requirement.
• Experience with NetSuite, Quickbase, or another ERP/project accounting system is preferred.
