Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a direct hire opportunity in Temecula, CA within the energy and utilities industry. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, QuickBooks Desktop, Excel, and 10-key skills who enjoys accurate financial processing and supporting a busy accounting team.

The Accounting Clerk will play an important role in maintaining clean financial records, processing invoices and payments, supporting receivables, and helping ensure accounting transactions are completed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities

- Process Accounts Payable transactions, including invoice entry, coding, matching, and payment support.
- Support Accounts Receivable functions, including posting payments, updating customer accounts, and assisting with billing activity.
- Maintain accurate accounting records in QuickBooks Desktop and ensure transactions are entered timely.
- Reconcile account information, research discrepancies, and communicate with internal teams as needed.
- Use Excel to organize financial data, update spreadsheets, and assist with reporting.
- Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy, including 10-key entry and general clerical accounting support.

- Pay rate: $23 per hour.
